Art became really meaningful in my life after I was disabled by young onset Parkinson’s. I studied botanical art 2011-2014 and found it physically and emotionally therapeutic.
I obtained a postgraduate certificate in creative arts therapies in 2017. I’ve been involved with Painting with Parkinson’s since early 2019. Though still an interloper, it’s getting easier to call myself an artist.
