Cheryl Osborne

In 2012 I completed a Master of Visual Arts at Monash University, Churchill. As a figurative narrative painter my art practice is concerned with spirituality, rebirth, love, peace and compassion. The narrative explores self, using personal mythology and symbolism.

Since 2000 when I had my accident my life has changed. I have chronic neuropathic pain (CRPS1) and related conditions. The intentionality of my art practice is not to show my pain. I believe there is enough angst in the world. To convey this colour is luminous and harmonious. Visions of the incarnate are explored peacefully through Buddhist and Christian perspectives.
